Well I hope a few of you may have backed Civil Unrest and Ballyoptic to hopefully make it a decent day, with a few losers left alone also. (and a couple backed)
Anyway, no time to dwell…
CHEPSTOW

Wishful Dreaming – 3/1 (micro – age) WON 4/1
NOTE: Hobbs had a winner on Saturday after a break. He is ‘only’ 5/58,17 places with handicap debutants the last 2 years, 1/11,5 places at track with such runners last 5 years. Ok.

Indian Stream – 16/1 (all handicaps) NR
NOTE: I assume she will be a non runner after the race on Saturday but who knows. Trainer remains in good form.
Splash of Ginge – 12/1 (micro, runs this season) UP
NOTE: NTD remains in good from.
5.00-
Dineur – 7/1 (micro, trainer jockey combo) UP
NOTE: Horse has an ok record 60+ days

My View…well I haven’t looked in much depth as I am off out for the evening but I suppose at 4s Double Ross may be the one that looks most interesting. He has an ok record fresh and his mark has dropped a bit. This could be easier than some of his races last year- and he had some decent placed for last autumn in decent races. There is plenty of pace on in this and if he can just sit off them he could come with a late run. I am not convined Dineur is good enough to take this, but only had brief look.
Wishful Dreaming may be ok at 7/2, albeit given the break/not brilliant handicap hurdle stats I am personally wary at that price.
The Splash Of Ginge race looks a good one, packed with interesting runners, and based on his chase form to date I think you may have questions whether he will be good enough here. But he is 14s and worth looking at in more depth than I just have.

Enjoy your Sunday.
