No luck on Saturday from the one tip, possibly unlucky not to place having been chopped up twice but hard to know. Hopefully some may have had a saver on the winner at 6s, or followed Martin in with his 66/1 poke who came 5th. Good stuff. My quick draw/pace shortlist in the 2pm found the 1st and 2nd.
In more positive news a couple of the services I have pointed you towards in recent weeks have been having a fine old time of it. I don’t ‘push’ too many other services that often and for good reason, but it is nice when those that I do actually perform straight away. I believe Nicky Doyle of BetAlchemist service has had a solid week and he tipped Hoof It at 22/1 on his free big race preview list. He knows his stuff and if you are looking for a decent Tipster service (with write ups) then you can check his out HERE>>>
Likewise the Big Race Tipster over at The Betting Insiders Club has been on fire again this week. I don’t know how he does it but Dr Nick Hardman has knocked up near +100 points this week at Goodwood and Galway as I write. (2 pt win and 1pt EW bets) Phenomenal. Their package is worth it for the tips alone (includes a short write up) but you get a lot more than that. You can watch their video to the right or head HERE>>>

On Monday I will record a short ‘video tour’ of the blog but hopefully most of it is clear enough. I hope you like the new design.
I will opt for a quiet day on Sunday and come back fully tuned up on Monday.
So, just the potential system bets and a few ‘trainer in form’ pointers for Market Rasen…

As I write Johnston has won the last at Goodwood to complete a good week for him, improving on his stats for Handicappers that won LTO. One Mr Hogan has had two winners at Galway- the notes wouldn’t have pointed you towards his jumps winner, but may have done for his 12/1 flat winner. With one more day to go the following notes may help…

Although no great prices Patience Tony in the nhf race for the Swinbank/Moloney Combo in the 5.40 and Dealing River in the 5.05 for Bailey/Skelton combo, the latter obviously needs good ground to perform to his best, trainer striking while in form and ground is good,no worries about short turnaround, like the new layout, very bright and clear
Blog’s looking good, Josh
If you can’t decide how to play the 4.45 with 3 Llewellyn runners, why not take them all on with Kelvingrove?
A useful hurdler, and looks like he’s gone into the books at the wrong price (16s with betfair) who probably think he came stone last LTO. In fact, he came sixth disqualified and would’ve actually been a lot closer had he not been completely cut off on the rail. That was a handy C4 at Chester.
pretty good revamp josh
MARENGO in the 5.25 chester looks interesting at 8/1 won well LTO and itlaaq and carbon dating who where in behind both came out and won Saturday got suitable conditions aswell
Hi Anthony If you like Marengo you should take a look at Energia Fox who is having 2nd run for fahey after being given an awful ride by mchugh now has frannie on board has finished 4l in front of marengo last time and is better off in the weights and will probably come on for the run, having been off since sept
Get where your coming from mozzer but 0/14 puts me off albeit in better class with Marengo now a n/r will just watch the race and see our fox runs and Llewelyn other one runs NABHAN
Sharp and clear lay out. Nice 🙂
Although a couple of my posts disappeared from yesterday haha
Thanks John, I think it is much improved. Ah, sorry about that, maybe lost when it was being switched over. I don’t want to know if you posted up a load of winners! 🙂
No you are fine in that regard it was just an Al Shaqab micro system and a Michael Stoute /Ryan Moore all weather micro system…. will add them up again during the week.
Excellent look to the new design Josh – well done. Font is maybe a bit big, but that may be my set up rather than yours and I’m no IT geek!
As I have posted before I use a couple of trusted subscriber tipsters that I have stuck with and come back to time and time again and I would certainly endorse Bet Alchemist, had a horrid 2015 but now back in decent nick (if you’ll excuse the pun) and another I use SP2A Elite had 5 winners from 5 tips picking the big Handicap race each day and advised winners at 10/1; 12/1; 5/1; 4/1 + 6/1 of said races. I picked both them and Nicky at Bet Alchemist up a few years ago from Racing Index proofing, so you know results are 100%.
Your Johnston system has paid rich rewards too this week, so thank you for that and I am now off on my 2 week hols with plenty of spending money thanks to you all, back in time for my favourite August meetings at York in mid month.
Thanks Ian, sounds like you have had a good week. Enjoy your holiday! I will try and find a few Ebor meeting pointers on your return.
Hi Josh / Guys
2 more qualifiers for the Josephine Gordon angle
2.30 Chepstow Sarangoo currently 6.2
3.40 Chepstow Pixeleen 5.2 (Betfair prices)
Both rides for Malcolm Saunders…..A quick mention for my old favourite Save the Bees running in the 4.55pm at Chester draw could well be against him today in 9 but if he pings the lids and gets that easy lead he requires he’ll be tough to pass again at his favourite time of the year good luck all
Steve
Very smart re-design; I just find it odd that on arriving on the Home page, I had to go to the archive for today’s post.
Hi Chris. That is odd and shouldn’t be the case. Newest post should be in top left hand corner, or right at top on mobile. That’s hoe its looking for me. Not sure of others have had any problems.
Very nice layout josh, looks great!.just a few small nibbles for me in Galway, gutsy goose in the 3.20,she’s running well enough and has the first time blinkers on,also carrying a very low weight.Bally Longford in the 4.30 is 2 from 2 at the course and looks to be trained with this in mind, powers paying 4 places in the shops in Ireland
7.45 Carlisle Pivotman
Ladies race on a Ladies only race meeting over just short of a mile and it is the richest race of the evening.
Not really expected to run well but best price is 8/1 with various firms
Distance is a bit short but the uphill finish might provide the experienced jockey with a chance to run into a place a change of scenery and male jockey might create some improvement
