Members Report: 07/07/16 (update 1)

I had a fun evening at Pontefract with a couple of winners put up in my bonus notes at 16/1 and 5/1 (was 7s early). It appears a few of you were on the 16/1 winner who lead all the way as hoped. My pin managed to land on a couple more 16/1 winners somehow – (last minute – part paddock/part reading the race card/part liking to have a punt on a double figure horse/part instinct- I was playing with change so no big wins – but it made the evening rather enjoyable. The highlight was the first 16/1 winner, undoubtedly. I don’ think I have even backed 3 x 16/1 winners on one card!

A 16/1 winner for Ruth Carr also lifted the mood somewhat. Hopefully the micros can build on the good start to June, much needed after a horrendous May.

Anyway, just the systems for now. I suspect that will be it as I will be travelling back from Leeds in the morning. If there is nothing after 10am then assume that the post is complete….

  1. oh no, it’s my cliff horse Lucky Jim going in the 6.35 Sth

anyone else been following him ever since he popped up travelling smoothly in hot novice at Newbury?

must have a win in him soon (i keep telling myself). The trip should help

    1. Perhaps the first time tongue will help? Hot little race though, I was thinking Brian Hughes could be a significant booking for Drumlang & if there still 8 runners could be worth an EW punt?

    2. I think it’s one of those races Ali…I have Queen Spud from my system bets…35%, but I am not confident at there is a case to be made for a good few. prices to tight to back 2….The standout on points is VDG…..35 ahead, but I have to back my system….Lucky Jim has a good Jockey change though….It’s one of them races….egg on the face time…lol.

    3. Thanks guys, i think i’ve reached the bottom of the cliff.

Luckily the winner was one I never even considered

  2. Celtic Intrigue does look interesting.

First run for Kerry Lee and back on better ground. Won his last two starts on decent ground. It looks a decent race for the time of year though.

  3. Ling. 8:20 – Saborido, currently 10’s with B365. A profile horse I have in my tracker, and looks to have a lot going for it today.

    1. One of two cd horses in race. Good jockey change too. is bottom on the sliding % chart though. Good luck Chris.
I’ll wait and see if I have any dosh left….then I may be tempted.

    2. Double bummer Chris…..lost dosh…so didn’t do yours…a winner….Duh!. Nice one though Chris, well done.

  4. A very poor day of racing today, one for me off a nice mark and may be a touch better than most of these is EL DUQUE in the 6.50 at Lingfield, nice draw – had a few bob each way.

  5. Josh

Is it possible to set out the Ruth Carr micro June system or can anyone else put up the details ?

    1. Hi Martin…’s a NR now…..would you mind if I kept it for my tracker, or is there specific info to consider. Cheers.

  6. I Believe it’s raining at salisbury which would very much suit OEIL DE TIGRE in the 5.45.Had a sharpener last month at newmarket on ground much too fast(1st run in a year) Ran well the time before that at same track on good ground and is on a very appealing mark at present.Nice price at 14/1
