I won’t pour over these results mid month as there isn’t much point. I do need to review the Jumps Handicappers as a few of those may require some analysis/tweaking.

MICRO SYSTEM
As always I like to throw some trainer based research at you, to take away and use as you please.
I was planning to record a video profile on Jane Chapple-Hyam but I am away from the computer that has that equipment on. So, hopefully I will record something next week.
However, I did find a micro angle of sorts for her and it is as follows…
- Jane Chapple-Hyam
- Handicaps (both Flat + AW)
- NOT Kempton
- 5 or more handicap runs to name
- Handicap Wins: 0
- 20/1 or shorter SP (guide)
Bets | Wins | Win% | P/L(SP) | Places | Place% | ROI(SP) | P/L(BF) | P/L(Plc) | A/E
ALL | 42 | 12 | 28.57 | 73 | 18 | 42.86 | 173.81 | 95.19 | 21.85 | 2.53
2016 | 1 | 1 | 100 | 9 | 1 | 100 | 900 | 10.5 | 3.88 | 10
2015 | 7 | 4 | 57.14 | 33.5 | 5 | 71.43 | 478.57 | 43.91 | 9.76 | 5.8
2014 | 1 | 0 | 0 | -1 | 0 | 0 | -100 | -1 | -1 | 0
2013 | 8 | 2 | 25 | 6.5 | 2 | 25 | 81.25 | 7.21 | -1.03 | 1.92
2012 | 6 | 0 | 0 | -6 | 1 | 16.67 | -100 | -6 | -3.08 | 0
2011 | 19 | 5 | 26.32 | 31 | 9 | 47.37 | 163.16 | 40.58 | 13.32 | 2.3 |
This one is fairly micro but with 12 different horses providing the winners there looks to be something there and it is fairly stress free. There is also plenty of logic there. These handicappers without a handicap win clearly haven’t shown their full hand to the ‘capper, but at the same time having had a few handicap runs will have some experience. It looks like she brings them along slowly enough before finding them a decent target to get off the mark.
The record at Kempton is 0/12, 2 places – she may well have a winner there with this system and it is worth keeping an eye on. Those going off over 20/1 are currently 0/6, 0 places. Clearly small numbers and something to keep an eye on.
Keeping all of the other system rules the same, those with 0-4 handicap runs are; 7/88, 23 places… -38 SP , AE 0.75
So, a decent enough angle that looks sure to keep ticking over. Already a decent start to 2016 and if she can repeat last year I think we would all be happy.

That is it for this post.
