April Trainer

A fairly short post here. I have found one trainer to keep onside this month….

2011 8 4 50 16.25 5 62.5 8 19.94 2.81 2.48

This is quite a stress free approach to April with not too many qualifiers but hopefully a decent return for our bets – which should be the case if history is repeated. These 16 winners come from 13 different horses. Looking at the stats he starts to crank up his operation around this time of year, esp from March then through the summer. Indeed in Jan and Feb he is 4 from 90 odd with the same runners. Maybe most of his horses just appreciate better ground, or he keeps some back to target races when many others may have had hard seasons already. Those going off over 16/1 are now 0/8, 1 place. ALL of his NH handicappers in last 5 years going off over 16/1 are 1/71, 7 places – they are hard to find!

That is all for this month. As always I will post potential qualifiers in the daily posts.

Good Luck.

  • There was a time when I would only consider runners of Jedd O’Keeffe for a small sprint at Beverley but lately he seems very much on the up:

More MIschief clocked Time of the meet Donc Sunday
Instant Attraction was near Figure of the meet Donc Saturday
Lord Yeats nearly landed a gamble Pont
Injam in a maiden split the bigger yards

If he remains in this sort of form he could be in for his best year ever?
