Well another decent day at the office yesterday as ‘Straidi’ did everything I thought he may. Brilliant performance and hopefully he can build on that. Maybe that is his level but he could just have a c2 in him and has time on his side. Scotswell did everything I hoped he wouldnt – namely couldnt get to the front (was surprised at that but then Beeves did pull, and paid for that near the end – if you are going faster than Scotswell in a race, well, then you are going too fast!) and made a shuddering error. Never mind, I will be keeping tabs on him. At the right level he is very dangerous when let loose.
That takes the yearly ‘Tips’ haul to +115.5 points so far. The jumps season haul (start of Oct) to nearly +154 points. Or, £3080 to £20 unit stakes. Happy Days!
I’m sure there are a few tipping services who charge a lot of cash per month who wouldn’t mind those figures! 🙂 Hopefully I can keep it going.

CONTACTING ME….just to say that the contact form on this blog doesnt really work so apologies about that. I will try and get it fixed at some point, when the blog is redesigned and made more user friendly in places. The best bet is to either leave a comment or email me… info@racingtoprofit.co.uk …
There can be problems with certain email addresses and my email system. So if you have joined the ‘donations club’ and haven’t received a welcome email, including the complimentary Cheltenham Guide, please email me and I wil sort it out.

THANKS…Just a quick word of thanks to all of you who have joined the ‘donations club’ and who continue to donate on an ad hoc basis. You are helping ensure that I can continue to keep the blog at the level it is now, while also looking to improvements in the future (a Forum maybe) I think we are all part of something special here, a new, exciting and fair way of engaging with this great sport of ours. Long may it continue.
I know some of you have only recently started reading. Hopefully you like what you find and in future you may ‘join the club’ of donators, either monthly or ad hoc – if you so value any aspect of your engagement with it, which of course you may not.

STATS/ANGLES OF INTEREST
2.20 Ayr – Smuggler’s Stash – 18/1 – 16/1 – 3rd- goes in the same race as a micro qualifier above, but at the price I thought I would mention him. While very Micro Dobbin has only run two handicap debutants here so far, one won, the other placed. This one is doing everything you want a handicap debutant to be doing – which is mainly something different, is stepping up in trip. This one is stoutly bred so 16f was never going to suit over novice hurdles but I think he showed glimpses, however minor. This trip should suit much more so we shall see. On paper there are reason’s to think he may out run those odds – in a race where no horse has yet won in race conditions combined – class/going/distance. it looks open.

That is all on the horses front today

4.40 Plus Jamais
Now this is a system bet that looks like it has promise. That form line bodes well: finished around Final Assault a couple of times, who has gone on to perform well in Listed races.
I agree ali shows up as a bet in a speed ratings system I use ocassionaly plus good trainer jockey combo got 9/2 withbet 365 could be bigger else were
Yep I would have to agree. Should/could get an easy lead if he so wants it and this trip will help. Was held up LTO suggesting he may not have been there to win! Hopefully they bump him out and he can get into a rhythm. If so, he does stay a bit further, and they may struggle to haul him back, esp in this ground. GL
I am not having any success sending you emails. I have sent a few but have not received replies, so I’m sure you haven’t received them.
The “contact” link on the website does not respond with anything at all so I’m having to use your BLOG reply. I did sign up for the donations about a week ago but have not had the Cheltenham message. Hope to hear from you soon, enjoy your Liverpool meal, you deserve it.
hi Eric, sorry about this. I have received your email and believe I have just replied. Hopefully you receive it.
Yes the ‘contact’ form is a bit broken at the moment, and again apologies. Always best to email me directly, I must have just missed your first email. Josh
Hi Josh, same as Eric, please could you also send me the Cheltenham guide, I signed up for subs yesterday. Many thanks.
Hi Dave, can you email me please so I know the right address to send it too. info@racingtoprofit.co.uk
Will send it to you directly as soon as you email. Cheers and sorry about the inconvenience. Josh
Couple of Becket runners At Southwell today his record from your all weather stats at this track is inviting !
Yep he does doesnt he – i haven’t looked at the stats – i have decided that I really am no good on those surfaces and I find it hard to get excited about looking through the cards! albeit that wont stop me trying to find useful stats for those who do much better than me!! I forget which track it is by one of the stats for Alan Swinbank has done quite well I think – 1m4f + maybe. The Stuart Williams micro angle has also been doing well from memory!
Good luck with those two, the latter has been well supported it looks from 5/2 (i think) I dont bet doubles really but may have just thrown £5 in their direction! of course the 5/1 shot will probably hack up and the shortie get stuffed!
Josh,
Well done again yesterday, whatever tablets your taking I want some lol. Just sent you a £17 ad hoc donation, I prefer to do it that way.
Greg
Hi Greg, many thanks for that £17, very much appreciated. I can buy plenty of those tablets with that haha. Josh
Hi Josh, I signed up to donate £12 a month on the 14th Feb, I sent a email to your INFO email address without response.
Regards
James
Hi James, is it James Campbell – if so I think I have just sent you an email.I couldnt find your previous email so apologies about that.
A very nice 3rd at 12/1 well done, I did notice the winner had won the corresponding race in 2014 but over a slightly different trip (re-measured) and in much heavier ground, but he had been out of form although Willans always one to fear – a nice bit of shrapnel again though THANK YOU.
A nice place with Smugglers Josh. I got 18/1 which gives a nice profit for a place. Had Kemsing as well and now need Rain in the Face in the 4.15 for a full house. Thanks for the advice.
