Members Report: 07/02/16 (COMPLETE)

Le Reve responded to the blinkers as I hoped he would and it was clear after 1f we were going to get a run for our money – to my eyes anyway. He received a very good ride in what are perfect conditions for him.

Ibis De Rheu – well I thought he may relish the step up in trip but I am not sure if he did. A very tame effort and hard to know if the tank just emptied or he didn’t run his race. The winner was in my shortlist of 4 for the race and on another day the pin may have landed on him! A bigger price and he would have been the bet, but at ‘only’ two points bigger than the selection – i judged that wasnt a big enough disparity based on their form to date. Got that one wrong. Thankfully my fav race type ‘saved’ the day!

Anyway, two winners tipped for the week, both 1.5 point win bets, and a profit I believe of +8 points. I think we would take that as an average every week – well I would!

Enjoy your Sunday, I will.

  1. The Plums also obliged and a nice 50/1 forecast – The research on first time blinkers was very impressive Josh – Superb performance again today – Keep em Comin !!!

  2. Cheer Joe…yep well I had to find a reason to overlook the trainer stats with the headgear haha, but think I found one! Yep I did see that. When I saw that Nick, then Ben A,plus pricewise and a few others put up Hobbs horse, and the Alex Hammond tipped up my one…I kind of knew my fate!! Another day in would have had him but would have taken today’s results when the day started. Hope you had a nibble at that FC!

  3. Re Ibis Du Rheu I was at Sandown yesterday I had a look at Ibis Du Rheu after the race,to me he looked like he had a hard race,i think if he turns up at Aintree on better ground you will see a different horse,i am keeping my eye on him, also backed Le Reve he was given a great ride.thanks for that one Josh.Cheers BoB

    1. Thanks for that Bob – yep hopefully we can get our money back on him at some point – maybe he does need better ground and 2m4f or something around Aintree may be right up his street. very good shout that. Pleased that you had some on LR, brilliant race and sounds like you had a decent day out.

  4. ‘Tis done Josh. £12.00 per month from my PayPal account winging its way to you. It should be fine but let me know if there’s any problem with it.

    1. Thanks Tony, that looks like it has all gone through just fine. You should be able to cancel your end any time etc if you wish, and you know where I am if any issues etc etc. I think – well I have decided – that I will discuss the monthly options tomorrow on blog/email, and anyone that signs up before this time next week will get my Cheltenham Handicap Stats Pack for free (worth £17+vat) – so, if you were going to get that, dont as I will send it to you – and if you werent, well you will have it anyway! plan to launch it on Thursday all being well.
      Thanks again, appreciated.
