MY APPROACH TO BIG RACE TRENDS

I really fancied a punt at FFos Llas on Welsh Champion Hurdle and West Wales National but fields have cut up very badly (if you’ll excuse the pun) and with a lot more rain forecast have massive doubts it will be on and field sizes at Sandown and Wetherby too look a bit skinny for a Saturday….doh!
Yep agree, bit of a damp squib of a day potentially! When looking at the trends on a Tuesday/Wed you hope there will be bigger fields but that’s the way it goes sometimes. Will see what the above throws up at Sandown but dont thin there will be any 20/1+ horses to get stuck into – that is the joy of Saturday’s on the flat turf though – can always be sure to find a biggie or two in a heritage/sprint handicap, and that is fun!
