Very Interesting stats thanks for this
Hi Josh,
Over the years have noticed good priced winners in Handicaps, when they have been brought out within
1 or 2 days only.
Would you be able to go back 3 to 4 years with your data.
Many Thanks
Colin
I will get digging Colin and let you know. Good idea, thanks.
I have added ‘days since run stats above’ and certainly since 2010- those turned out quickly haven’t done too well, nor those coming here after more than 75 days off track.
Josh
Hi Josh,
The 1+2 day is over all codes of racing not just on todays profiles,
sorry for any confusion
Colin
Ah apologies, well either way it threw up something of interest for Goodwood! I will have a look in general.
Hi Josh how have Hughes/Hannon horses done at Goodwood in Class 1 races, they must have won at Newbury last time out.
A Stat I seem to have tucked away in my brain cell
Just had quick look..stats for team Hannon/Hughes since 2010 class 1…
38 bets/14 wins/22 places
Track LTO..
Newbury actually 0/3,2 places.
Newmarket (July) 15 bets /8 wins / 10 places. +5.58 SP
1st last time out – 20 bets /10 wins / 14 places
Hope that helps
Josh
Hi Josh, I usually go to Goodwood most days and for the last few years I have been very successful backing all MJ horses to level stakes each day stop at a winner.
Anecdotally it feels as though the ‘early’ races contain more of his winners. I think there has only been one occasion where I got beyond 7 bets but prices at Glorious are usually sufficiently good to compensate.
Last year was the most modest return, the year before when he had been a bit out of form leading up to the meeting was fantastic. problem this year is that his recent form has been so fantastic that I would imagine he will be over bet.
Agree it will be interesting to see how they get on, and as you say it is likely they will be over-bet. It is hard to pick the right ones on ‘form’ as well, as that can go out the window! But, they are usually big fields and I should think the early prices will hold up with any luck. I do need to get myself to Glorious Goodwood at some point, let’s hope the weather is good!
Great stuff Josh off to Goodwood Tuesday and Thursday so any stats are very much appreciated mate cheers
