‘Through The Card’

Below are some ‘starting points/notes’ for Bath, using a template I developed for Newmarket’s July meeting where nearly all of the winners over the three days were mentioned somewhere. When some of my members’ go racing they’ll ask for some pointers and this is a good template, before any further study. It is very much intended as a ‘way in’, to use or ignore as you please. I did the same for Windsor yesterday and 5 of the 7 winners were highlighted somewhere…so, on to Bath…

  • GOLF BETS
    Open Championship

    Tommy Fleetwood 1 point ew 22/1 1/5 8 BO 365 BFSB
Outstanding player at Links play and he also holds the Carnoustie course record with a 63

    Mark Leishman 1 point ew 50/1 1/5 8 365 45/1 1/5 8 BFSB 40/1 1/5 8 BO BW 10 Bet
Quite as of late however he relishes Links golf and windy conditions having finished three times in the top six in his last three opens, value for me.

    • I am already on Tommy F at 66/1 from September 2017. As well as him and Tyrell Hatton at 50/1, I am also on Alex Noren for 1 point each way at 33/1. He is in good form in 2018 and is not phased in majors any more.

I do like Leishmann at 50/1. He has links form and can hit big if the fairways are burnt and fast.

      Good luck.

      • Had my first ever golf bet, on Leishman as the place part seems OK and followed the wisdom of crowds – of two!

    • Leishman looks bout the best value to me across the board, think the dry conditions are a big plus as well for the Sussie!
