  • up and wide awake far to early but it’s given me a chance to have a look at the York card .
1-55. looks an open race with no real standouts so i’m going to have a small ew on Cliff, drawn 2 with a 7lb claimer on board that knows him well, up in class but should run it’s race off a featherweight at around 16-1.
2-30. Save The Bees is another with a 7lb claimer on board and was not disgraced lto over c&d ,drops back in class and could grab the lead and try to hold on, 16-1 looks generous.
3-00. well it’s heart over head time and i’ll side with Intisaab 7-1, looked to be coming back to form lto, it’s been dry overnight and it’s bright and breezy this morning but heavy showers are forecast later in the day and if we get some heavy rain early that could bring Downforce 7-1 into the equation a real mudlark who’s chance will improve the softer it gets.
4-10. nice contest with a few in with chances , Graceful Lady 9-2 and Attention Seeker 8-1 are worth looking at and so is Blue Hussar 10-1 but this could just be to get a run into him before resuming his hurdling career.
GL with whatever you go for today.

    • warning these are only fancies as i know sod all about irish racing 🙂
2-00. Ice Age seems to tick a lot of boxes @ 9-1 might be worth a little ew.
2-35. Sea of Grace is a worthy fav
3-05. Duke of Firenze 28-1 is an old fav of mine won a big wedge on him a while back , he’s had a bit of a rest and IF recovering to his best could be a bit of ew fun.
3-40. top 3 in the market looks the place to be and my preference is Clemmie if only on breeding.
hope you have a cracking day
