Elite Squad: Jumps
Below are today’s four qualifiers from my Members’ Elite Squad (ES) : Jumps … like the flat version these are the ‘best of’ the trainer stats from my main stats packs. Both were introduced around the 22nd June as a way of homing in on the best systematic qualifiers and as a place to focus, for those who wanted to. The hope was that they would work systematically, or in any case provide another starting point for those who like to add in their own thoughts before deciding what to back.
The Flat started well, winning +65 points in a little over a month… a dip was expected as that was a mad start. After a couple of losing weeks they are on +38 points now. The Jumps… well they had a mediocre start, and were on -10.55 on 13th August. Since then they have won around +38 points and now sit on 66 bets / 11 wins / 24 places (inc wins) / +28.
So, in a little over 2 months, the Elite Squad combined are on around +65 points, which isn’t bad. 🙂 For those betting £2.50 (which is always a comfortable place to start any approach) since the start that is a solid return of £162.50. Fun + Profit. Long may it continue. It also shows the benefit of a ‘portfolio’ approach I suppose… the Jumps qualifiers stepping up just as the Flat hit their inevitable wobble.
Onto today’s Jumps Qualifiers…it is moderate fare… hopefully one or more of these run well albeit in truth looking at them on paper I wouldn’t be shocked if a few are still running this time tomorrow! But, there have been a few decent priced Elite Squad winners that didn’t make much sense on paper! So, fingers crossed..
Sendiym (hncp hurdle) ES H3 I1 G1 6/1

(The H1/H3, I1/I3, G1/G3 refer to Horseracebase/Inform Racing/Geegeez Speed Top Rated and Top 3 rated. Added info to help with analysis and there is also the odd systematic strategy based around them)
GL with any bets.
