TIPS

none. A 3m chase at Cheltenham but for Amateur riders and I will keep a watching brief.

STATS/ANGLES OF INTEREST

Well another pointer for the flat, so brace yourselves…yep, my attempts on the flat even more questionable than the jumpers at the moment…

  • 4.55 Doncaster – Paris Magic – 9/1...UP 16/1 (market said it all) possibly looks worth some EW interest, inevitably finishing where all ‘good’ EW bets do in 4th. BUT…young Hugo (caught with something illicit at Ascot but I can’t work out if it was for him or a horse…I have heard he likes a party!) well he is 3/8,4 places with his handicap debutants at the track. He is 11/49,24 places, +32 with all handicap debutants, 3/12,5 places at Donny in the last year with all runners, and 5/13,7 places in handicaps with JG up in the saddle. The horse is top on Geegeez speed figures. He has been a beaten fav in his maidens which tempers enthusiasm to a point- but the last day was after a long break (not a problem in itself, would have been fit) but he was keen there and he possibly didn’t stay. Breeding suggests he is a 10f horse and he drops back to that trip here. He clearly has some ability and if can settle here will hopefully run a good race. I may have a 1/4 point EW for interest. Hugo’s are going ok, 14/67,30p last 30 days, 4/34,10 p last 14 days, inc a winner yesterday. The Haggas and Appleby horse look like they are expected to go well here so not a race to go mad on if you do decide this one is worth some support.

That will do, enough to wade through below and in my TTP/Cheltenham notes.

    • Doesn’t it just… mis read FBs fitness..he doesn’t tick any boxes against my Sept/Oct positives but that may not stop him…NTD ‘only’ 1/30,7 places all handicappers running at track 60+ days, albeit in hurdles not so bad, 1/9,3 places.
Looks a puzzle- have had EW bet on Altesse De Guye given TTP stats, and how she ran on reappearance here last november. Ground should be better- fitness a Q and is the distance, will be staying on late, with any luck placing at worst. Hendo has goo stats and given the break, I find it of some interest that Wigwam is so short at 7s. Suggests he could be tuned up for this but that is some time off. His other in here not discounted lightly either at 16s. What a puzzle. Not a race to be too dogmatica about but hopefully someone on here can back the winner! GL

  • Hi All…. a system horse Ocean Sheridan 14/1 runs today 3.45 Doncaster.
The system is in good profit but because of the prices it has a lowish SR 19%.

    BOL all.

  • Kullu is out again today, 3.00 Newbury, but this is a harder race. However he may prove to be a good horse and so 9/1 seems worth an each way punt.

Henderson has a handicap hurdler at Cheltenham (3.20) today. At 16/1 is worth a punt.

It looks hard at Cheltenham today. I am on El Bandit in the 2.10 based upon reputation more than anything else.

    Good luck.
