FREE DAILY POST: 07/08/16 (complete)

I am in a bit of a rush this morning so just the systems today, of which there is one qualifier. I will reflect on the sprint handicap test zone runners early next week. The two at Recar were especially disappointing. Last week was a tale of winning 6 points, and then handing it all back, which happened a few times.

My trip to Newmarket was good fun. The weather was good and so was the company. I had an ‘at the track’ 2/1 winner of the first, which was as good as it got. A couple of second placed finishes was all I could manage after that. My quick sprint through the Haydock card didn’t do that well, and I should probably not do that again. You can’t rush these things and it doesn’t usually go that well for me. Lesson learnt. Still, there was an 8/1 system winner on the card but that is as good as it got.

TO NOTE: You may see a new ‘log in’ box to the right. This ‘Members Club’ area bit is a work in progress and there are still a few things for me to complete/tes etc. Once all done and ready to go I will let you know, but that will be the back end of next week I think.

Onto today…

MICRO SYSTEMS

4.30 Leic- Jack The Laird (16/1<)

***

A quick mention for Vibrant Chords in the 4.00 Leic- he was an eye-catcher LTO at Ascot and he, along with the front few in that race went into the notebook. One of them has franked the form since which a couple of others haven’t. I thought that was a good run for one so inexperienced and he arguably hit the front soon enough, possibly on the wrong side also. I have yet to look at the race, or his odds, but it will be interesting to see if he can build on that.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,

Josh

  • hi Josh maiden post from me.
I like the new layout looks very professional.

    On to the horses.
Sylvester de sousa has a decent S/R in Chelmsford hcps.
In the last two years, something like 28% and should have a decent day.

But it’s the 1 mile hcps I want to draw your attention to.
He’s has won 9 of 18 and three of his last four, an impressive 50%

today he;s riding ivan Furtado’s. Nouvelli dancer in the 3:50
who he has a 27%S/R with

Only five runners but it’s quite competitive and any of the five could win.
Nouvelli has a better AW profile than turf.

AW hcps : 3 wins and a 2nd but in lower class than today.
but it’s the jockey stats that tip the balance for me.

possible a good angle to follow. also..he’s 4 from 4 in stall one

  • Hi All

Not much from me this weekend the 2 possible Ruth Carr selectiond yesterday ended up outside of criteria (i:e over 8/1 SP) and not much today…However I will put one up for an angle I have with Stuart Williams this has a lower SR of 27% but profits are good the horse in question is:

4.50 Chelmsford City Stamford Raffles currently 8.6 on BF

This one has had its 3 maiden runs on turf and shown very little and now first time in a handicap on the all weather so improvement expected 🙂

Right I’m off to move my dad to a new home

Good Luck with all your selections today

  • Sorry about the run of Baadi yesterday. It was well fancied but let us down. Accession ran a good race to be second and was backed from a solid 14/1 down to 10/1 and so a fair each way return.

Still no real form from Gary Moore or Greatrex this summer, most disappointing. Gay Kelleway has gone quiet as well but is likely waiting for the all weather again.

I have 8/1 on the draw in the test match and so am sweating that one today. Also have a bit of 4/1 Leicester v the much hyped Man U today.

  • Blue Sonic back out tomorrow (Ayr 4PM) and Tudhope is on board for the 1st time since the last of his 3 wins on him (3/3) so hopefully no mishaps. Other one I like is Fireship in the 8Pm at Ffos Las.
