Tip of the Day: 10/08/15

Hello, I hope you had a great weekend. There is NO tip today, as I was struggling to be confident on anything.

August Trainer

Chris Wall runs Silvala Dancer in 5.50 Wind. He is 5/2 in this C6 Apprentice Handicap and look like he will give the hat trick bid a good go. There are a couple of unexposed types in here and a sneaky one from the Hannons that could be interesting. But, from a quick glance he is the only one with no questions to answer really, and should go well.

2.30 Ayr looks interesting, and Keith Reveley is 3/5, 4 places in the last month. He runs Affectionate Lady here at 4/1 who won well LTO. She does have her stamina to prove, having tried the trip a few times. But, could be she is getting better with experience and the way she has been winning suggests it should be fine. She takes on two in form Goldie Horses, Haidees Refelction looking the most dangerous. I suspect one of the top 2 will go close here, with the fav with proven CD form and also open to improvement. I couldnt really split them – ALs last race hasnt worked out too well either.

8.20 Wind McDelta looks fascinating to my eye at 33/1, and I have had a small EW nibble. Trainer is 4/12, 6 places at the track. This horse likes these race conditions. He was off the track for ages, since late 2013, before coming back for 3 runs. The last one was perhaps disappointing but with another short break he may be ready to show some of his old ability. I dont mind paying to find out. He looks interesting, and a win would not surprise me, and given recent profile and odds him being pulled up/tailed off wouldn’t either. But, the odds allow that risk imo.

Good Luck with any Monday fancies you have.
